Hi. Being a child of the 50's, I'm new to this new-fangled technology. I've got a Panasonic DMR-E85H DVD/HDD that I'd like to use to record from a Freeview box, but I'm unable to get the DVD/HDD to pick up the TV signal via the Freeview box. I can connect the TV & DVD/HDD okay, it's introducing the Freeview box that has me baffled.

My TV has only 1 Scart (but I've got a 4-way Scart splitter) and the DVD/HDD and Freeview boxes have 2 Scarts each.

Just connect the TV Output of the Freeview box to AV2 on the E85. Ensure both the Freeview box and E85 are set to "RGB" - (goto Functions/Setup/Connections for the E85). You will then be able to record whatever channel the Freeview box is displaying.
