 Not to bad, but im not gonna go rush out and get a Freeview box just yet, the govermant should puch the prices down soon.

Note when using the old Philips DTT box there is a sigificant pause (around 5-6 seconds) when switching from a 16QAM channel to a 64QAM channel. There is no such pause on the newer Pace DTVA. However the Pace DTVA seems to have a bug on radion channels with their MHEG layer which once loaded removes the sound of the radio channel itself.

What this the BBC say that some terrestrial viewers of the digital channels will have to retune?

Just means you have to manually get your box to do a fresh channel scan.

I'm wondering if these extra free channels will be available on sky digi boxes as well as the aerial FTA digi boxes?

If anyones has an answer then please let me know.
