I have a Sagem idt64 freeview box that I bought in England. I now live in Finland and the apartment I live in only has cable digital (they either have terrestrial or cable, same channels) and as you would expect it does not work as it is a terrestrial box. What I wanted to know, before buying an aerial, Will this box work in Finland?

Yes it should, with output via SCART and the tuning set to whatever Finland's DTTV allocations are.
Have you checked to see if the tuning menu offers a Finland option and also asked Sagem for confirmation ?
