    Hi

Can anyone recommend a freeview box for timer recording with the Toshiba XS32? At the moment I record from the aerial or if I want to record a film or something special, from my NTL cable box. The problem with the NTL box is there is nothing to stop anyone switching it off or changing channels whilst recording from it. Do any of the freeview boxes lock the settings so that this cannot happen when recording from them?

    Cheers

The Netgem iPlayer does and it's a nice little box to boot! The timer can be interrupted, but it does warn you beforehand, so depends on whether the family is likely to ignore the warning or not as to whether it's right for you!
