Can anyone advise me to whether you can pipe Freeview around the house using co-ax the same way you can with Sky+ e.g. using the RF2 ouput.
I must admit that I have never even seen a Freeview box as this has been asked as a question to me by a friend who doesn't have internet access (can you believe that now days).

Don't know about piping with coax, sorry.

But, "your friend" could consider a video sender. I've got one on one of our ntl digiboxes sending to the TV in the Kitchen. AND, it was a cheap one from Lidl (about £20), I can't fault it.

Yes if he / she gets a FV box with a modulated RF output (not all have this). You could feed the output to an aerial amplifier to feed the various TV's.

Yes, my sister is in the same situation, yet my father who resisted the internet for years went from dial up to BB in about nine months.

A review of a Thomson freeview receiver has just been posted on the HCC site. I am sure that it had an RF output which would allow you use an amp to get the signal around the house.

Get a box per TV - much easier and won't cost that much more
