I have recently built a media centre PC for my lounge, at the moment where i live there is only a few chanels available for freeview, I also have sky, I would like to be able to record sky and also some freeview chanels, I know you can only have digital or anologue on MCE, does anyone have any experience or recomend any way of being able to record both, ie feeview on MCE and analogue via other software. My case uses half height PCI cards so I am a little limited.
Any help would be much apreciated.

    Many thanks

Some of the cards ie Avermedia, Compro etc will let you use both types under XP (or maybe even the XP screen under MCE) via it's own software using the s-video socket the cards possess (just make sure there's a suitable way of getting analogue sound in too). As you rightly point out it's only Freeview via MCE.
