Ive installed a number of the pioneers, they are very good , at £59 much better value than one of the new £99 boxes imo. They look like a proper piece of kit as well , rather than one of these new breed of free to air receivers.

They are just old On Digital Boxes, with slow processers. They are also huge !

Just pay £40 more for quailty

They are the same size as any other av component , the pioneers are not slow and they have a full set of connections , at £59 they are excellent value. I guess Tejpal must be into midi systems.

I've got one and its great.
Wonderful pic quality, the box actually looks good, 2 scarts, RF and phono outs, works fine.

Infact I may pick up another one for recording, and possibly one more for good luck :D

I wish I'd gone searching for another in Dixons stores as they were doing them for £50 just after ITV-D died, but they only had the one I got left in my local store.

    B&W 602 S3, Nad C370 and C541i, I suppose you could call that a midi system...

and i would rather pay £30 more to get the latest boxes that includes the latest software and EPG etc...

because you pay 8 for delivery too !

Actually I've just noticed mine is a slightly different model.

Its the DBR-T2100GB or something like that, although the only difference might be the ITV digital logo rather than OnDigital.
