Does anyone know if the Labgear distribution amp can be used with the Freesat HDR as the HD does not have an aerial OUT socket. If so how is it wired?

It can not be used directly with the Freesat HDR. What you need is to connect the Scart output to a UHF modulator and feed the output of this to the return of the Labgear distribution unit.

Maplin have the following unit :

    Programmable Universal Modulator > Maplin
