Freesat Bradcasting Areas Question

I when to pick my my Freesat Box from Argos and they tell me that the Freesat service is currently not being bradcasted in south east London intill a few weeks...

could some confirm this Info for me

It is a satellite signal, there is no way the transmissions can be that localised to be able to switch on and off areas like that.

It might be that you local tv channels may not be available, but that would only be for local variations like local news and the occational tv program.

I used to have sky as surely if i can get Sky thast i can also get Freesat
