Freesat 4K recordable & LNB

Novice Member
I live on a narrowboat, it has a Travelsat mini dish which has a single LNB. My Humax box died a death which I have replaced with a Freesat 4K recordable 1TB box. The Freesat manual states it needs a widebeam LNB. Can anyone advise on a suitable widebeam LNB that would be compatible. I have also replaced the single coaxial cable with twin.

Go to Amazon and enter wideband lnb.

The freesat 4k box will work with the current LNB. It won't have the full (max 4) tuner-recording potential.

You may need to seek advice from the sellers/makers/distributors of the existing dish about a compatible alternative LNB that will fit the dish arm and shape.

WideBAND LNB (not beam) as used on $ky Q - so a new mini dish and LNB may be the simplest way?
