Richer Sounds Leicester is hosting a free even showcasing how to get the best from your video gaming experience.
The latest home consoles, the Sony PlayStation4 and the Microsoft Xbox One, will be hooked up to high quality TV and surround sound systems so they can be enjoyed to their absolute best. The consoles have been provided by Game, who will also have a representative present to answer questions and discuss the latest games and trends.
The TVs on show will include Sony models particularly recommended for video gaming in 42" and 50" sizes, and LG's cutting-edge 55" OLED TV. There will also be an Optoma projector and a Sony 4K Ultra HD projector. Audio equipment includes award-winning models from Yamaha, Sony, Cambridge Audio and Dali. All TVs will be connected to both consoles so gamers can switch between the two.
Two competitions will also be run on the day. There will be a Call of Duty Ghosts tournament where visitors compete against a semi-professional gamer and the winner will take home a Sony 32" LED TV. There is also a Forza Motorsport 5 competition and whoever sets the fastest lap time on the virtual Top Gear test track will win a £50 Richer Sounds voucher.
The Ultimate Gamer event will be held from 12-5pm on Saturday 17th May at City Rooms, Hotel Street, Leicester LE1 5AW. Free tea and coffee will be provided.
