Is it possible to view the Freeview channels via a Sky box which doesn`t have a card in it.?

I have a current sub and 2 working dish feeds. All this is to try to compare new box with the old one via Scart.

So far if I connect the old box via scart (no card) to TV I cannot get a picture. Is this orrect or do I need to swap the card between boxes.?

    Thankyou.

    No. Freeview is terrestrial TV.

Any working Sky box connected to a dish feed will receive, and send it's output via Scart, all Free to Air channels without a card. (Just pull the card from your working Sky box to check.)
