Free soace problem - Disk defrag?

I've had sky + for over a year now and the available space line which is seen on the menu on sky planner has reduced by a 1/3 - you can tell this by the gap between last programme recorded on top line and available space.

Does anyone know how to do some sort of disk defrag and enable full use of the disk space??

Easy, on your remote:

Services, 4, 0, 1, Select

This takes you to the engineer's menu, choose either a planner rebuild or a full reset. Planner rebuild usually does the job fine.

Full reset will completely wipe the hard drive !
