Free Fox discs - missing UPN

Now the free Fox discs have started landing on our door mats, those of use have DVD Profiler may find it difficult entering the title in our databases. This is because the discs have a "promotional use only" block where the barcode/upn code would normally live.

The profiler database is not that hot on R2 discs in the search. It knows about them when you enter the upn but very rarely lists it when searching by name.

So...

Can anybody with the R2 versions of "What Lies Beneath", "The Full Monty" and "Dr. Dolittle" kindly post the upn numbers for these titles.

EAN stands for European Article Numbering. Generally, EANs may be found on the back of the DVD cover, and printed under the bar code. Region 2 EAN's are generally 12 digits

thanks in advance

You can enter discs by their title as well as UPN.

You must be doing something wrong because I have no problem at all entering disks by title.

Make sure you click "Advanced Filters" (on the far right, on the same line as where you enter the title). Then you can select which Regions you want to search under.

I actually had the same problem but with R1 discs. My profiler had R2 as default so didn`t display R1 and R4 when looking for a title

It won't do, unless you specifically select "All regions" or "Region 2" or "Region 4" etc using the advanced filters.

Hi,

Was planning on creating a database of my DVD's, which I guess is what DVD profiler does.

Can someone tell me where I can find out more information on it??

Thanks,

Dave.

downlaod it, install it, setup is a piece of cake
U just need to enter the UPN code of the barcode and the profile of that DVD get's loaded and u just add it to ur collection
