According to today's DM tomorrow every reader gets a free DVD with 2 complete films on it. Films are; The Ipcress File and Brief Encounter. It says the DVD will be in the paper so no messing with tokens etc..

We got a copy of the Mail on sunday this morning and there was no DVD with it.

No mention of it on the front cover either.

    Strange.

I think this offer is in the Express.

The front cover mentioned a free DVD, but you had to send away for it (and pay postage).

    The offer is regional.

If its not in your mail this week then it will probably be in it next week.

It is deffinately in the Central Region of the Mail on Sunday today.

I think they are being distributed by TV region, as indicated on the ad last night here.

I am on the south coast in the Meridian region and got mine this morning.

Not bad, two films for £1.20 - neither of which I have seen.

I get the Mail anyway, so for me, top bargain.

There's a full page ad in the paper inviting us to buy other double feature discs but at 12.99 per disc (discounted if you buy 3 or more) it's probably worth waiting until Play get hold of them and knock them out for £6.99.

All the national newpapers distribute by TV region (I used to run inserts in them in my last job). This looks like a contra deal where the company puts up the free discs in return for a free ad to try and sell more discs.

Let's hope The Mail's competitors organise a counter offer.

Did any one get the offer of a free DVD in their Mail on Sunday today? All I could see in ours was a free chocolate bar. As much as I like chocolate I do not think it is good as the free Ipcress File DVD. And the chocolate play merry hell with the laser.

I have just been round to someone’s house who gets the Mirror and I looked in last Saturday's issue and saw no token, was the DVD with the paper itself or did you have to send away for it.
