    These are from my dads house. They have no hard drives in them, but dvd drives and I think one has a dvd writer.

    One was in use upto about 2 weeks ago and the other has stood for a while. It did work before it was replaced.

    Collection only I the next few days, wife will not have them hanging about the house!!

    I would prefer these to goto someone who does contribute to the forum. Feedback I don't really care about but posts in the forum I do!

    Although, see if you drop them off at a local school/nursery/after school club.

    Though the problem these days is that schools and the like usually they have newer kit inc iPads etc.

    So a couple of old PCs with missing hard drives would be too much hassle probably.

    If you don't get any takers, you should take it to the local council tip for recycling as it shouldn't go in normal household waste.

    +1 for taking it to the local council. They will have a refurbishment department and they will probably forward the pc to someone who needs it.
