Ben Wheatley (Kill List, Sightseers, High Rise, Free Fire) is gearing up for his biggest budget film to date, at around $15m, with plans to shoot in early 2013.

The story is set in a world where monsters rise from the ground and terrorize citizens when night falls. The Freakshift is a band of government-organized misfits and lawbreakers who hunt and kill the creatures for civic duty, sport and money.

Lol, this was meant to shoot in 2014. And now Will Smith is starring in something similar.

to an outsider it might be amusing, there is a lot of things that need to come together when making a film, and here they did not, im sure Ben has kept busy developing even more projects

I'm looking forward to the will smith/Netflix project, this one?

    Yes Bright looks very interesting.

Also interesting in the use of Arnie Hammer for thiss role, maybe he'll become somewhat of a muse for Ben and his female co-creator who's name escapes me now? Arnie is appearing now in their other movie, Free Fire.
