why I stopped watching it on BBC I will never know, its an excellent show
Was it ever shown on the BBC? I thought it was Sky to ITV to SCI Fi Channel in the UK?
Really loved the first two series of that show, didn't miss a single one. All went a little bit downhill as the third series attempted to chase ratings that were, by that time, simply never going to happen.
It'd be nice to get all the shows on DVD and looks like it may happen:
"Q. Is Millennium going to be released on DVD?
A. Recent comments suggest that the intensive ongoing efforts of the fan community to make a Millennium collection available on DVD may soon pay off. When asked in a recent online chat about the possibility of such an official release, Chris Carter stated, "They're talking about Millennium on DVD. Beyond that I wouldn't think thee is much hope for Harsh Realm, or Lone Gunmen. But, I think there are a lotr of people asking for the Millennium DVD, so I think that will happen."
Although nothing is completely certain at this point in time, things are looking increasingly promising regarding the possibility for such a release. The Digital Bits DVD website recently stated, in their reliable rumor mill section, that individuals working at 20th Century Fox plan to release a box set of Millennium's first season during the year 2002. This supposed scheduling information is likely based on recent positive comments made by Fox's Peter Staddon. Time will tell."
