Has anyone seen these sets side by side.
My local Sony Centre does not even have an FQ80 yet, so there is no chance of seeing them in the same day!

Just need a CRT as the sound will not be used.
Don't care about the cabinet as it will be on a SatndUnique Ultimate AV stand.
MemoryStick is no use as my camera and camcorder are SmartMedia so really I am paying for large amounts of bells and whistle that I won't use but hey its the quality of the picture that counts.....

Erring on the side of the FQ80 with the 50MHz option as I watch a lot of sport but if anyone has seen these and wants to give an opinion
I'M LISTENING

Cheers
Les

I have a Panny tx36pb50. I chose it over the Philips Pixel plus because you do get a lot of artefacts, especially when there is something like athletics and rowing on screen. Things with fast paced action does tends to be blocky. I couldn't put up with but many have. Must be a good overall.

No artefacts on the Panny and the 100hz is excellent.
