Morning all I currently have a Sony KV32FQ70 that's an excellent set apart from the lack of component in and Progessive Scan capability. I don't have the funds for a good plasma so am looking at switching to either a Panasonic PD30 or the new Tosh Z48 Picture Frame 3. Some PD30 owners seem delighted with their sets, whilst others are less than happy, so I'm obviously viewing this set with some caution (excuse the pun), whilst I don't much about the the Tosh (other than a couple of owners saying that the dreaded green trails apparent on some PF2 sets seem to be sorted now). Both sets appeal to me for reasons of aesthetics/ssize and mean that I could go to a 36" without the TV appearing bigger. I won't be using the audio on either and will run the set with a Yamaha RXV-1400 amp and Denon DVD-2900 player. My feeling at the moment is that, good as the FQ70 is, I'm not using the PS feature of the 2900 player and that this would give me a useful improvement in PQ. So - PD30 or Z48?.....and are the 36" sets typically more problematic that the 32" ones in terms of geometry, calibration etc? Also - does anyone want to buy a mint FQ70 with 4 years remaining on a John Lewis warranty?
