Thought id update my experience with the GETZ thumb grips.

Had them around 1 or 2 months now. Im not really a big gamer on my xbox maybe around 15hours a week. Grips are good, but i have noticed the rubber that goes under the thumbstick has warped slightly and my grip kept coming off. This is from me pushing up on the thumbstick but i have rotated it 180 degrees so the warped bit is at the top and its fine again. I assume the same will happen tho and ill have to buy a new lot, unless some boiling water will reshape them. Also the tiny groves on the top have started wearing away, i did expect this but not so soon.

    Overall: 8/10
(Would of gave them 9/10 if they didnt warp)

would be a good idea for PS3 as the anlogue sticks are horrible, are built round and are slidey. 360 pads however are perfect. no need for these mods

Well nearly 5 months on from buying them and still very impressed with the Geltabz. The tab that sits over the left analogue stick occassionally falls off but I think that's down to my tendancy to always make the "Z" logo straight on the controller which over time twists it off the sticks handle.

Feel is very good, even when you get a bit moist :D

Am going to buy some for my Dad as a fathers day prezzie because he loves COD and he's played it so much the grips on the handles have worn down

I completely disagree. Although the PS3 sticks are rounded they do have a larger surface area, and it is textured. The sticks are also less stiff than the 360's. Also you can't use them with a Wireless keypad because you don't get full stick movement from them. There's just not enough room, bit of a pain really.

I'm still using the same set of Caps4stix I've had for months. They're a bit flatter than they were at first but the larger and more gripier surface area is a big improvement.

I use blutack on left stick, sure im not the only one to try it :) Not on my main 360 controller but on my wired pad i use for my PC, helps me be smooth on the steering on the likes of rfactor etc by keeping movement while gripping it to a minimum..
Also used blutack on my PS3 triggers till the real triggers were around, useless without something they are.

    Good stuff it is! :rotfl:

I wouldn't recommend the Geltabz to people that intend on using them with games like UFC or Fight Night. Mine were ripped to shreds within a couple of hours. They held up well with all other games though.

Do NOT use these if you play fight night!

I bought myself a replacement pair and they've lasted a week with hardcore sessions of fight night round 3 and 4!

LOL I ordered them last Tuesday 16/06/09 for a Fathers Day prezzie and they arrived the following day. It might of helped that I left them a little note advising them the reason I needed them quick!

The original set took about 10 days to arrive, however this was due to an Administration error at their end to which they apologised unreservedly

The left grip falls off occassionally (usually after i've been twisting it so the logo is straight) but it's so plyable now it only takes 10 secs to fit it back on.

My FPS Freeks just arrived, will try them out later and post back.

Was having a look at those Gel Tabz and found these, anyone going to admit to buying them?
Might make a good gift for a laugh.

    Lock 'n' Kill Adhesive Target Reticules - £1.95 : TheGameTrain.com

EDIT: Just tried my freeks and on my first match (CoD4 hardcore team deathmatch) I got 20 kills and 6 deaths and that was without wearing my astros.
So if I add my score of 27 for 4 with my astros and 20 for 6 with my fps freeks I should be able to get about 47 kills and 10 deaths using both lol

Good to know, I'm curious about these. So do they make large movements quicker or make you generally more precise? I assume being raised gives you greater accuracy? Sometimes in FPS and shooters etc, my aim flys around the screen and I'm not too accurate or I'm over-excited lol. You reckon these would help then?

Couple these with my Astros and I could be a deadly weapon?! :)
