I've noticed since last weekend everything I record when I look at the info it shows the info from the program broadcasted before it

No - are you using the default accurate/series settings when setting recordings after pressing OK or have you set some autopadding options or are these manual recording reservations ?

I have padding set at 2mins before & 5mins after I've had it set like this for a long time but its only started doing this from last fri

ooops missed it.
I have seen this is the past where the broadcaster has not channed the programme running status (or done it late). I would check the programmes of a good broadcaster like the BBC - if you get the problem there it is something else.

I shall keep an eye on this one of the programs one on bbc but recorded the golf today and thats correct

Tested this now does it on BBC chanels also
