FoxSat HD remote is working my Freeview box

Embarrassing question. I think I have randomly selected some buttons on a Humax FoxSat HD remote by laying it buttons side down then piling newspapers on top, as you do. Now I find it works my Humax Freeview HD Fox T2 box perfectly, but the satellite box is ignoring it altogether. Can't find any relevant instructions about this and there are no buttons on it to switch devices (unlike the normal Humax HD Fox T2 remote which has 4 devices programmable).

thanks

Looks like you may have inadvertently changed the mode of the remote control.
These are the instructions for reprogramming a Foxsat HDR (RM-F01) or HDR Fox T2 (RM-F04) remote, as originally published by administrator "Barry" on "My Humax" forum. However, the procedure may also work for your Foxsat HD (RM-108) remote.
Turn on your HD manually and select it as the TV source and try steps 3 to 7 as below. I know there's no PVR LED which will stay lit when you hold down 0 and OK, but you might still get the on-screen message. Worth a try anyway.

Multi Code function HD/HDR remote

If you are using more than one receiver in the same location you can change the remote control frequency so that the remote control commands do not conflict.
(This is only relevant to the Foxsat HD, HDR, HDCI 5000, and HD/HDR Fox T2 freeview HD products.)

1. Switch on your TV set and the Humax product that you wish to change the remote code.
2. Make sure that the other Humax product that you do not wish to control is in Standby or powered OFF at the mains.
3. Point the remote control towards the remote control sensor of the target receiver.
4. Press and hold the 0 and OK buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the PVR button on the remote stays red.
5. A message will appear on the TV screen:

"You can change the remote control mode.
Press a Numeric Key (<1> ~ <6>) to select the mode
Current mode: Mode 1."

6. Press a NUMERIC button (from 1 to 6) to select a different mode.
7. A message confirming the change of Mode will appear on screen.

Right, I think you hit the prob.
I had to change the Fox T2 Remote before because it was working the Freesat box.
Not sure if the Foxsat box channel has now changed. I'll do a bit of testing later.

Yep, got round to reprogramming the RM108 with "0" and "OK" and set it to channel 2. Now they work independently.
It was confusing because the RM-F04 would work *both* the FoxSat and the Fox T2 while the RM108 would only work the FoxT2. So is there a bit more going on with the remote channels than Humax are letting on?
