    Hi there.

There are four points that I would like to clarify before I go for my RPTV.

    1.

has anyone ever had screen burn caused by a 2.35.1 DVD image with blak bars at the top and bottom. i.e black bars shown on the image?

    2.

Realistically, could I use my Xbox on an RPTV or is this too much of a risk. I do not play a great deal of games, but the when I do they tend to be sports games with a lot static images shown.

    3.

Convergence. How tricky is it to get an rptv set up, assuming that it has not got auto convergence.

    4.

Live Football. Can a football score shown in the corner of the screen damage the set again.

thanks for any time taken here. I really appreciate the help from all of these forums. I am totally unfamiliar with RPTV but I am looking to get one based on the evidence I can gather here.

    Captain Benefit.

You may find this is better posted in the AV Hardware:Video section under TV's...this section really deals with HiFi related problems etc

    Good luck!

Just in case you don't make it to the new forum, the answers are: no, no, not too hard and no.

RP sets are great fun and pretty easy to live with.
