... you could also email or ask around for an appropriate charger, charge up, insert your sim, check internal address book for "home", "mum/dad" etc, if sim not recognised, then its a locked phone, so remove - shouldn't really affect your sim.Mr Cat said:if its in your works car park then send out an e-mail to everyone, or hand it in at reception.....

If address book can be accessed then its the best bet for a speedy resolution and its not really major invasion of privacy to flick down a list of names that mean nothing to do someone a favour. I don't think texts are usually accessible with a different sim (and if they were, yes it would be an invasion of privacy - so DON'T read them!).
