I fully expect to be making an appearance on the Saturday and fancy a forum night on the tiles that evening. Anyone else interested?

It would be good to meet up with some of the regulars and newer folk again. :)

No need for a different colour of uniform but being the new guy you have to buy the curries and beer

Any reason that you're planning to go from West London for the show to East London for the curry. I do believe they sell curries in the Hammersmith area :D

Not curry, but a nice place nearby is Latymers Thai Cafe. Irish pub link to a Thai restaurant

    Browns the Night Club?

That place hasn't been cool for ages - it's been bought out by some Middle Eastern Gentlemen last I checked...

I used to go on a Sunday night about 2-3 years ago when Lion Pr. used to run it (the night)

Bet you don't know about the secret room up up the stairs (on the third floor)

    It's not secret any more...

Either way, the idea really is to meet some of the members and have an evening out with some beers and a meal somewhere. Hopefully somewhere a bit quieter than at Bristol which was great fun. :)

It's only 16 stops on the H&C line.

We can sort something out on the day anyway and maybe do another forum Brick Lane meet up in the future. :)

Bugger, which I could have made this one but I think I am heading down to Byron Bay that day. Ho hum :)

Have a great day chaps and chapettes, let me know all of the gossip from the day as I bloomin' love going to these shows and Brick Lane is the place for a curry is it not?

    Have fun :smashin:

    Pete.

    Hey gang

MAW alerted yours truly for the meet up in ..and guess wot? It's in my manor.

The best for food and ambience is Bengal Blues Brasserie on Brick Lane and 5 mins from strip bars and Browns too. Theres a cool proper Cockerney Pub a few hundred yeards up the road and Brickie Lane is at Aldgate East station

As I am lord of this particular manor...I can book table as its really busy every night so let me know rough numbers!

Liam loves his curies as do most of us and it would be grat to meet up with teh regular experts on the site....

Those that wanna venture into Browns (its OK on a regular night - but its not one of my "party" nights I am afraid...) can do so and I will make sure you get in as Browns has a tough doorman.

If you fancy summat cheaper than Browns (drinkies are expensive) theres a no entry fee Strip Pub a few minutes walk up from the restaurant ....all you do is give the girls a "tip" when they bring round their beer glasses!

Let me know if this is a goer!

    Dil

    Regards Dil

I'll be very disappointed if both Mason and Adrenochrome don't make it down for this - even though I probably won't be able to drink them under the table again. :)

I'll probably be driving some of the way this weekend so the shandy competition will have to wait until Bristol. :D

Heathrow is about 45mins to an hour on the Piccadilly line to West London. :)

Sorry to hear that Tom, I hope they sort themselves out soon and that you'll be able to come to the next one.

Dfour, I don't think that there are any firm plans but I'm sure most of us will be popping into the AVF area throughout the day to see if any friendly faces turn up. Otherwise how about meeting in the AVF area (or the bar area ;) ) at around 1630-1700 and deciding what to do from there. It really depends how many people turn up but finding somewhere for a few drinks and then a meal somewhere shouldn't be too tricky. :)

All would be welcome as long as they want to be there. :smashin:

Stuart, would you be able to join us again?

Unfortunately, won't be able to make it this year. I'm off to Old Trafford on Sunday to watch the match and therefore am making it a long weekend there with friends. Have fun guys.

(Shout out to Tons, Stuart etc)

Stuart, have you got any info on where the AVF stand is or pictures from today? :)
