No he's not.

My thinking is that more or less anything you do which you enjoy can potentially become addictive. Lots of people enjoy lots of things without becoming addicted.

I've played Fortnite and I'm not addicted to it.

My kids have played it and they actually play co-operatively to build massive houses etc. in the Playground. You could argue with some justification that that's not 'real' Fortnite - i.e. Battle Royale. They had fun on the hoverboards racing around (where have they gone, by the way?).
