Does anyone know how I can receive TV programs, specifically from Hong Kong/China? Where can i get the equipment from, and approx how much it would cost?

    Thanks for your help

As far as I can remember there are only 2 Chinese channels outside of that area, CCTV and the one on SKY, CCTV is on various satellites like Hotbird and Thor, you'll need an 80cm dish or bigger and a free to air digital reciever. There are lots of Satellite dealers in the UK who can advise you of the cost of equipment. As far as receiving channels from that area direct via satellite it is impossible in this country.

I think both are free of subscription - PCNE and CCTV. PCNE can be recieved via the SKY digibox.
