Pictures of the tyre and wheel package, I've measured the depth of the tread on one of the front tyres ( FWD ) and it's 8mm all across. Which is amazing considering all I could find was it's 8.6mm new. So I will state they are 6mm to ensure I am not over estimating them - if that makes sense.

Be ready for winter, the frost has started .............. winter tyres are recommended when the temperature drops below 7 degrees centigrade. So better stopping and grip in dry, wet and not just snow and ice.

Hi, I have a set of alloys on my mondeo and the tyres always deflate. I don't use the car much, so don't know if it is just corrosion of the alloys or just bad luck. I'm not particular about winter tyres as I believe it can be an MOT failure (correct me if I'm wrong). As my MOT is in Summer, I would always have to change them and I've got nowhere to store them. Are you willing to sell the wheels separately? Just can't justify spending much on it at all.

If you'll split (as above) I could be interested in the tyres - would need them posted tho.

Old alloys can leak where they corrode where the tyre touches. Not sure if i's an MOT failure but probably not sensible to drive with them.

Didn't want to split them but if I did then I'd need to pay to get them split down.

You'd need to collect ot arrange and pay for a courier yourselves.

Please reply with your interest in this and I will make a price for each. Would either of you want the wheel nuts, locking wheel nuts etc. ?

Thank you. I would be interested in a price for the wheels alone. Plus the extra for the nuts etc. I think I could probably use my own, but if they make little difference...

It's a bit of a huge trip for me, so they would have to be worth the journey :)

You would need new nuts as the nuts are different between alloys and steels, thinks it's the angle of the faces where they meet.

    Where are you based?

Will wait for 330 to confirm he is happy to get a price from a courier then I'll give you a price each

Prices will be conditional on both deals going through. If that makes sense.

Sure. Happy for a price to ponder. I've got to make sure collection will be possible too, so this is just for a pre-offer discussion for now.

Yep - happy to hear what you'd consider for the tyres alone. Postage (going off other tyres ive bought would be around £20)

Sorry chaps. I'm out - would have to be around £100 for the tyres for me to benefit
With postage then fitting costs it doesn't really warrant the hassle as there's very little saving for me. Thanks anyway.

Tyres on Mytres are £98 each ( cheapest I can find ) so that's £400 for new ones.

    Anyway thanks for the interest.

Hope you can get tyres with a good tread depth then and in good condition, I've always been wary of part worn from a tyre shop after a bad experience.
