I find it very hard to believe and frustrating that the highest profit company is Vodafone. I'm doing a paper on vodafones customer service for an assignment and they are awful so how...
Beating Apple by over 30 billion. Is this simply a mistake? Or is it true.
It's been like it for weeks and I'm surprised there has been no press coverage if true.

There profits are also 10 billion £ above there sales how is this possible? My only thought is that these are from extended contracts signed years ago for business.

    If it is true how?
And why is this not more heard of? Especially being a uk company on a respected website
Vodafone on the Forbes Global 2000 List

adding paper statements to people accounts probably adds to that profit, just had a chat with them myself online despite never being registered for paper billing i've been charged for it for the past 3 months.

They've credited my account with a free months bill for being a 'Loyal customer', still couldn't explain why it was on my account though

That's a nice lot of tax for the UK, unless they are also doing some dodgy but legal tax avoidance.

I'd assume that the sales referrers to only some aspects of their business model.
There are lots of other areas for revenue including charges for routing from one network to another, investments, roaming charges etc. etc. that may well not get included in 'sales' - which one would assume is contracts, hardware and projects.

And there is also "creative accounting" to build up share values .

I tend never to believe what companies say they are worth .
