its a pity so many of the regional dialects seemed to have disappeared
Unfortunately scouse and cockney aren't amongst them.
the scouse accent is ok - its the brummie one I hate...!
Mmmm I agree but I still think it a shame that such words as owt nowt thee and thou plus many many others seemed to have taken a backseat

I chored a yat on Sat'day when I was gattered = I stole a gate on Saturday when I was under the influence of alcohol.
Mind you I think that MTV and Jerry Springer have alot to answer for.
