    Lo all...

I recently bought a PSP from Hongkong, does the PSP contain a demo disc or not?

I tried putting some Music files onto the PSP but it doesn't work.

I'm trying to figure out how to put music onto the PSP. I loaded the USB with the PSP. But the folder should contain "Music, Games, Photos, and Savedata" The only folder it contains is Savedata on mine.

I put my USB connected with the PSP

Opens up a folder saying PSP......click

    Savedata..and thats it.

Is yours the same and what do I do?

First off no the PSP does not come with a demo disc, when it was first released I believe pre-orders and certain shops gave away a demo disc but they havent been available since before christmas.

As for not having the correct folders, it sounds like you havent formatted the memory stick, this really should be the first thing you do after fully charging it.

All you need to do is turn on the PSP with the memory stick inserted, select System Settings and then select Format Memory Stick, this will then create all the folders required for storing Music, Pictures and Game Saves.

The instructions on how to do this are in the PSP manual so they do tell you what to do, its not their fault you cant read Japanese :D

To be honest though I didnt read anywhere that the memory stick had to be formatted, it just seemed like the right thing to do seeing as the PSP was brand new so everything should be blank and there was a setting on the PSP to format the memory stick.
