hey there i know this is a long shot

but do any blokes like going out with some stubble on rather than a clean shave?

what can i do to keep a certain lenght of hair on my face rather than having to shave 3 nights before im PLANNING to go out

    is there some grooming product??

beard trimmers , use a grade instead of doing a wet shave or electric shave to the skin

Have you considered using a samurai sword? Some may consider this pratice dangerous, I however shave with one blindfolded.

    Great results every time.

Hair clippers, no attachments, just use the guide lever to give the required length. Works perfectly for me...:)

I second that. They're only about 20 quid or something. Though i must add that some of the ladies find long stubble a bit annoying, apparently. :D

I'm an avid fan of what we used to call 'designer stubble'. I have a good beard trimmer from Philishave - even has a little vacuum cleaner on it to suck up the stubble as it gets clipped! I'm so impressed with this toy that I don't stop with the hair on my face ... I just go all over the head hair, too! Now that I've found a particular comb length that suits both head and face, it's a breeze. And no more sodding razor rash.

    Highly recommended!

I hate shaving and if I could find a permanent solution, I would but can't grow a good beard or good stubble.

Is there a reason to go anywhere else? I guess if one was trying to gain an 'advantage', one might try? :D

I don't know how old you are, but if you're still a young whippersnapper things may improve with age: hardly anybody can grow a decent beard until they're at least 20, and many people not till they're past 25. It actually continues to get thicker for a long time even after that. I'm 34, now, and my moustache is only just now beginning to get as wide as I would like.

If you're already 30 and still patchy, you may find you could get away with a partial beard of some sort, like a modern-style goatee, or perhaps a "Blackadder II" type thing.

    Really?

    See http://www.theharleymedicalgroup.co.uk/index.php?id=10

I bet it is pricey though. Apparently afterwards the skin on those areas becomes far smoother and softer - as it is no longer continually being damaged from shaving.

Man, have you seen what that treatment does to you. Gay friend of mine had his back done for vanity reasons....my god, the blisters and pain he had afterwards. I had laser treatment for a skin condition on a very very small part of my forehead and it hurt for bloody days. No chance they are going to do it to my whole face.....NEVER!

Not unless you like something on the scale where sunburn is a stick of tnt and laser treatment is like Hiroshima!
