Crocodile, don't you know the difference between computer and audio cd recorder discs??

audio cd burners e.g. Pioneer 609, Philips 796, Sony RCDW3 etc will not record on computer discs because they need the special music discs. This is because of stupid SCMS.

OK - I don't know the difference, so can you please explain?

I thought the difference was in the tax rate.

if the difference was in tax rate then the computer discs would work....

the music discs afaik have got SCMS (serial copy managment system) on them and the normal cdr data ones don't. i'll dig out some facts when i have more time but if u don't believe me, buy a load of data discs and shove them in an audio recorder!!
