For all those who have the denon 1910, HELP PLEASE

Im a total novice so bear with me.

I have the denon 1910.
I've connected the tv to the amp via hdmi to the "hdmi monitor out" socket.
The ps3 is connected to the amp via hdmi to the "dvd 1" socket

now how do i get the ps3 to output to the tv?

all i get is a black screen. Although When i press menu on the amp it comes up on the screen...

Have you assigned your inputs?

If not then that should hopefully sort out the problem.
