just watched for a few dollars more last night and in the film the guy has a pocket watch that plays a tune , this tune i have heard somewhere else , possibly sampled in a song , anyone know what it is?

sorry to be a bit vague , but it was driving me mental trying to think what it was!

Theres a lot of sites which will review this sound track, as well as Ennio Morricone's other works. He's widely used in the cinema and used to good effect I feel.

Anyhow have a look at this link, it mentions the pocket watch jingle. Used to have the album on vinyl many moons ago.

    Regards
    KH

{EDIT] - DOH - Heres the actual link lol

Was it used by 'White town' in their only hit single (something like 'I can never take the place of your man')?
that had a jingly bit at the start, the ep was called 'abort, retry fail?'

It was used in a speed garage song from around 98. The name escapes me at the moment though :/
