    I have been told that the philips 9986 has problems watching football on tv?

    The Responstime is to long?

    Is this correct?

    16 millisecond response time if i remember correctly

    which is more than ok for football

    i dont watch the footie but i did try 10mins on my 9986 the other day and it was fine.

    LCD's by there nature are not the best of the best for watching sports.

    9986 response time is 12ms. Not that that means much, just let it be said that all sports look just fine!

    Actually the 9986 panels have a quoted 12ms response time and any problems with sport will be mainly down to possibly poor bitrate on Sky - depending on channel.

    I can't believe the amount of people who say "watching football on an LCD is rubbish" i've watched several games on my LC26GA4E and never had any problem whatsoever
