    no I am sorry no time he is beyond bad

    He'll probably trip over his mike and go off on the sick for a few months

    Or maybe he'll have a blinding 15minutes of articulate thoughtful comments then be crap again for the rest of his commentary career

    Did anyone read that report out recently, bemoaning how few coloured managers there are in the football league, due to racism at board level ?

    John Barnes was quoted as saying "All we want is a fair crack of the whip".

    I'll say no more....:laugh:

    Did anyone see the Liverpool game last night on Five?

    I watch/listen to the Sky footie a lot, somehow having different commentators during the match is a bit odd, particularly when they come out with things like (to quote last night)

    "this place [referring to the stadium] reminds me of the Roman baths in Bath"

    He was trying (I think) to make a point about the lack of noise in the stadium ... I was left scratching my head, along with the rest of the country I imagine.
