Looking at the tickets on online at Ticketmnaster, and they say they gon on sale on 12/08/05, which has been and gone, but they're still not for sale.

Anybody know anything, and i can't find a number for ticketmaster to ring them.

Found the number, but the recorded message says there are no tickets available, but it doesn't say sold out.

It seems that they sold out pretty much straight away....and then started popping up on Ebay for extortionate amounts

My Wife is very annoyed as she really wanted to see them but if the prices on Ebay keep going up and up I can't see it happening :(

They seem to be averaging at about £100 a pair on Ebay...and I am sick and tired of paying stupid money for tickets to almost everything this last couple of years.

Why can't something be done about all these people who buy in bulk within seconds of tickets going on sale and then just selling them straight on Ebay

Yeah but the people who do this ' for a living' will buy multiple numbers of tickets using multiple accounts and names/addresses

I agree about the passport thing though! The Nine Inch Nails show we went to see a while ago was sold out way in advance but when we got there the ticket scalpers were all outside with loads of tickets in hand trying to sell them for silly money...

....there were loads of empty seats during the show so how many of those tickets went unsold whilst people who wanted to go could not buy them for the original price just so those prats could stand outside trying to make a massive profit after they had not managed it on Ebay.

Not sure if you know this but if you join the NIN fanclub you can now (in time for the fall tour in the US) buy the tickets in advance and they do have your name and address on them, which has to be checked against photo ID when you get into the venue.

I think all concert tickets should be sold like this, but with a ticketmaster monolopy and touts their biggest customers its not going to change anytime soon.

The Spiral thing with NIN is a great idea and I hope they keep it going for any more UK dates they may do in the future.

If more bands did it this way the cost of ticekts would not get to silly levels like they do now!
