Sony is mulling over the idea of offering product discounts and other incentives to entice PlayStation 3 users into forming a supercomputing grid that could be leased to businesses.

Can't see it working.. [email protected] is popular because it can be seen to be doing some good. Leasing your PS3 to business? They'd have to be damned good incentives - enough to offset the electricity cost and then a premium on top of that for the inconvenience.

Anything less than about £20 a month and it wouldn't be worthwhile. A £5 money off voucher on a game would *not* be sufficient.
