I just put 1gb of photo's on the PS3, and its just chucked them all into the photo folder, is there a way of me creating named folders for them to go in?

    cheers

I THINK you can arrange them that way on a PC and then copy them to the PS3 but you cant organise folders on the PS3 at the moment, maybe at some point that might change.

That is correct. The folders have to be created on the PC and then transfered to the PS3. You can't actually create folders or organize directly on the PS3 at the moment.

When copying to PS3 though, there is currently no setting on the PS3 to have a proper folder structure view. The default view is by date (Month). Hopefully Sony will give us the option to view by folder with a future update.

Incidentally, not sure if anyone else has noticed - with video you also cannot create folders on the PS3, and when copying folders from an external hard drive the structure is not copied, just individual videos - bit annoying as I have masses of CSI/The Unit to watch and would rather have them in their own folders on the 120GB drive I have in the PS3.

But you can still have a folder structure on the external drive and watch video from there. Strange how copying a folder structure works for music and not video or photos!

had the same problem but most of them were one there own, i later got them all on there own by using photoshop, if you open them all and the close them down in increments of 1 second the created or altered time is not the same for all of them

so it does not clump them all together, this is my crapy long stupid way of doing this, im sure sony will sort this out soon
