An upmarket movie version of "The Hustle" TV show with better looking actors and a bigger budget

Good fun watch if a little predictable, good movie to watch with the missus

As long as you aren't caught with your mouth open when M.R. is on screen.....

Yeah, I thought something about that was off; I just couldn't get it to play back in my A player. Assume from your response that you have? I've amended the review anyway just in case. I know Warner are normally (or rather, always) free but I didn't cotton that until after I'd failed to get it to play.

No, I haven't picked it up yet. It just threw me as it's not Warner's usual form.

AnyDVD reports it a Region Free. With AnyDVD disabled, it plays in my A-locked BD drive. And it starts with various FBI warnings.

      Oh, and I enjoyed it.

2.4:1 - is that correct for your version? I watched the Region B rental last night and it was in 1.85:1, which is also what it's listed at on IMDB. I notice in the IMDB 'trivia' page they originally filmed it at 2.4:1 (well, 2.35:1) but they switched to 1.85:

Originally shot in the 2.35:1 scope aspect ratio, the film makers re-framed the film to 1.85:1 when they decided the flat frame suited the picture better.

No reference for that - it doesn't say if that was pre-theatrical release or pre-home media or what.

Thanks, even the images were obviously not 2.4:1 so it was just an error in the tech specs. Corrected now!

You've got me wondering now whether it might have been better in the wider scope.
