Does anyone have one of these? I am considering getting one to go with my 806Vs. I would appreciate any comments (or any idea of where I can get one at a good price!),

It's a bit much to extrapolate a sub's likely performance from the data available for its bigger, more expensive brothers, but none of the JM Lab subs seem to offer class shaking performance. None of them seem to go very low, or have particularly low distortion although because they're small ported designs, they do go quite loud within their limits.

Obviously they're a (in fact, the only) perfect visual match to the speakers, but unless the SW 800V does something Focal have yet to manage, then I'd suggest there's better value elsewhere.

I kept my BK Monolith when I went to a Focal 5.0 setup - 816WSE, CC800V, SR800V - and I find it does a great job. The Focal subs do seem very expensive even for their paper specs...

I'm using a Rel T1 with the Focal 826 fronts which uses the high level from the amp binding posts, blends quite well and sounds very nice with plenty of ooommmph
