Having just purchased a T32 I installed an outdoor DAB antenna and can receive all the DAB stations in my area. :D

However, on FM I initially tried an outdoor omni aerial and could not receive anything. I then changed this to a 6 element directional aerial. At first this also gave no joy but then switching to DAB and then back to FM the signal was now at full strength and I could receive all the FM stations. Subsequently switching back to DAB and then to FM I lost the signal again. Since then I have not been able to get the FM signal back. :(

Any suggestions or is the T32 FM section to blame.

Have you selected the correct FM input aerial as it can have two, one normally for a standard FM aerial and the other for a cable based feed...??

If anyone is interested. The problem was a break in the 75 ohm coaxial cable half way along its' length which was intermittently making for short periods.

Everything is fine now that I have replaced the cable.

I would not send the cable to IAG for repair - it could take months (to locate)until they will repair it.
