FM & Dab combined coax

Active Member
I've got a Labgear HDU641 distribution Unit in the loft with external mast mounted separate TV, Dab & FM Aerial inputs.

I understand that the unit actually amplifies all signals & I have TV, FM & Dab coming down together through 1 co-ax.

If I use a UHF/VHF splitter, then take the radio co-ax to the tuner & then split to Dab & FM inputs will I still have the same integrity of radio signals originating from the Distribution Unit?

Yes, I do exactly this with a Proception Starbox in the roof and a Vision Triplexer to split the DAB and FM feeds, just around the back of the tuner.

It's probably affected by the quality of your initial reception though. I'm lucky and get good signals for both.
