    Hello.

I recently bought a second hand Barco Data 800. It's working well except for a problem on the red gun. There's an obvious fly back line crossing diagonally several times up the screen and the area not blanked that doesn't contain a scource is tinted red.

Does anyone know how to correct this? Better still, does anyone know where I might be able to find a copy of the manuals?

    Thanks :)

When the projector has no source does it do the same?

Does it still do it with the brightness turned down?

Looking down the lens is the light constant or flickering?

    Hi. Thanks for replying.

With no source the fly back line is still there, as it is with the brightness turned down and it flickers with no source. (I'm not sure what you mean by flicker the fly back line jitters but it's constantly visible)

(The red gun is visibly brighter than the others with no source)

    Thanks for your time.

    Joe

Sorry to say this but I think your red tube has gone. It could still be the end stage.

Don't take this as gospel get it checked out.
