Fits the theme for me and I like it, but I'm just not so sure about the pp / dark areas on the petals. I'll keep revisiting it :)

+1 - the darker outer edges on the petals give them a "wilted" feel for me which spoils this a bit - pity as otherwise it's a cracking shot :(

Very nice, I like the depth to the flower itself.

Very nice, but I agree with the others...I find it a bit too grainy, nice composition, but then something has taken away from it opposed to complimenting it...

Is this natural light? If so, for some reason it doesn't look like it. And nothing but natural light does it for me I'm afraid ;) However, there are good points in this. Theme, for one, is amply present in this shot, full of light and shadow. I quite like the composition, too.
I'm not sure where this is grainy, exactly? (referring to the comment before me)

The ends of the petals look grainy to me, not just dof there seems to be something else happening there. Not sure what though :)

Those petals have a shimmer. They're shiny. And it can look like grain, I guess. but there's definitely no sign of grain on this shot anywhere on my monitor :) Sharp as a pin! :)

Hmmm, not that it matters as it is a lovely shot...But looking at the full resolution version, I definitely notice the grain as well, and actually even some back focus on the petal on the right....But hey, my apologies I didn't mean to turn this into pixel peeping as it is a lovely shot...

Yep, I like this. Grainy but that's no bad thing in my book.
