FloppyDtv S2 v's FireDtv S2?

Have had two FloppyDtv S2 in succession DOA from KustomPcs and was wondering if this is a regular occurence with this card. Also are there are any differences in picture quality between this internal card and the external FireDtv S2 as I,m considering swapping it for this model instead.

Any advice much Appreciated.

I have the FireDTV and picture quality is excellent - bear in mind it's a firewire connection though not USB. Personally I gave up with KustomPCs as they always seemed to have stock problems. I bought direct from the Digital Everywhere website - very quick and efficient.
