I have a Metz Artos widescreen television and I have noticed that with PAL DVDs, especially during dark or badly lit scenes in the movie, I see what appears to be slight image 'lag' in 100Hz mode, almost what you'd see on a filmed on video TV series.

Not all R4/R2 DVDs have the problem to the same extent, it seems to be worse on some PAL DVDs than others,

The same problem doesn't appear with Cable TV, Laserdisc, SVHS tapes or playing R1 NTSC DVDs in 100Hz. Is this a problem of PAL DVD mastering? Why does it seem to just affect R4 and R2 PAL DVDs?

    thanks for any info
