flicker on JVC

    ive noticed when watching d-tv that some programs that have a blue background cause flickering when the forground moves in front of the blue background. usually on talk shows, like if someone waves there hand. ive tried turning the digital signal stuff off but it still does it. strangely if i record it and play it back it dosent do it.

    im finding the flicker present on analougue and digital horizontal panning :(. is there a set of settings which could reduce this? at the mo its set dvnr auto(low), superdigi auto, movie auto, and colour digipure on.

    Do you have the HV36P38SJE model per chance?

    the engineer is coming on wed next week from a company called MTV (based in lincoln i think). hopefully he can fix the flicker, geometery, and convergence.
